Step One: The Dream

Step Two: Where to Start

Space size, construction parameters, ventilation requirements, and building, fire and health codes must all be considered when determining if a particular space is right for your concept and budget. We can help you assess these factors at various locations to determine what is best for your new venture. Armed with this information, you can then consult with a contractor, finalize your business plan, establish your financing, and negotiate your lease.

Step Three: Planning

With the lease confirmed, we can now begin preparing a more detailed space layout to fine tune your project budget and business plan. After receiving a modest deposit, your Automat Kitchens designer will begin the many hours of work required to bring your architectural, interior and construction ideas to a design reality. Step Four: Equipment Selection

Each piece of equipment in your operation must be chosen with functionality, efficiency and budget in mind. Working with your Chef, we discuss your menu concept in order to ensure the correct storage, preparation and cooking equipment is included in your operation. We also consider your future plans and equipment requirements, but only supply the equipment needed to meet your immediate menu needs and budget. This provides the ability to grow and expand easily in the future, with a logical next?stage design mapped out in advance.

Step Five: Manufacturing

Once your equipment selection is confirmed with a financial commitment, we begin scheduling the factory deliveries to coincide with your required opening date. Our outstanding reputation for completing projects on time and on budget means that you can now turn your attention to the many other details of your project, such as menu, staffing, decor etc.

Step Six: Smallwares

Often overlooked until the last minute, now is the time to consider your opening smallwares package. The look and feel of your dining room ambience begins at the table top and it is important to make the right choices early. This includes all of your kitchen wares, china, cutlery and glass serving items. We can also assist with a furniture selection to match your decor package, completing the final look and functionality of your restaurant.

Step Seven: Site Construction

Your Automat Kitchens Contract Designer works to create electrical and mechanical construction details to provide your engineers and trades people with the information they need about the equipment you have purchased. Our staff will also be on site as required to ensure that the installation of your food equipment is handled correctly, and proceeds without delay. We will do everything in our power to ensure that we meet our commitment to your deadline.

Step Eight: Installation

We will carefully monitor the site construction progress, and work with your trades people to determine the best time for our equipment to arrive for set up and connection. There's no need to worry about freight damage or missing pieces ? looking after these rare occurrences is our responsibility.

Step Nine: Start Up & Training

After your equipment is installed and connected by your sub trades, our own service department will conduct a complete inspection and start?up of the package to ensure your equipment is in top running order. Once your opening team is assembled, we can organize a staff training session on the proper operation and maintenance procedures for any equipment they are not familiar with.

Step Ten: Open For Business

Your dream is now a reality, and your total focus is on managing your successful business venture. We have been there every step of the way, and our factory?trained service technicians will continue to be there during and after the warranty period, to ensure you obtain maximum value from your equipment investment.
